Wiper Party Patron Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta cannot intimidate National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga. This is after the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko directed police to probe him and Raila for threatening to stop the fresh election. Kalonzo argued that the investigation is in bad faith.“Such threats easily harden our positions that the field is not level to participate in the polls, they add no value, you cannot intimidate Raila and it is futile, it is defeatist,” Kalonzo said, as quoted by Standard. The leader of the opposition also said that he is ready to call upon Raila to take part in the rerun if the election amendment laws, which have sparked different reactions across political divides are dropped and IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba quits.  “If Chebukati sacks Chiloba today and President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy drop their mischievous Election Laws Amendment Bill currently executed on their behalf in Parliament, I will request Raila that we teach Jubilee a lesson in the repeat polls,” Kalonzo said.
