Deputy President William Ruto has said the opposition is in panic mode due to the Jubilee administration's strong track record.
Speaking in Mumias town on Monday during his political tour of the Western Kenya region, Ruto said the opposition was doing guesswork since they were not a match to the Jubilee government.
According to Ruto, the lives of the people were not to be joked with since it was not a game of cards for them to be tossed from one corner to another.
"The opposition is working on a guesswork mode. They have been scared by the development record of the Jubilee government and they have now retreated to a panic mode," said Ruto as quoted by KBC Radio Taifa.
Ruto further added; "The lives of the people cannot be tossed from one side to the other because they are not a pack of cards. The opposition is a team that is now operating in a nervous mode that cannot be trusted with the country's leadership."
In the forthcoming August 8 elections, the DP said the IEBC was working to ensure the election process is successful.
"The election date is set for August 8 and there is no other date," Ruto added.
