Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has told off Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto saying that his attempts to lure  Rift Valley locals into the National Super Alliance (NASA) will not work.

In an interview with the Standard on Sunday, Ngunjiri said that Rift Valley will not be lured into the NASA adding that the region is in Jubilee to stay.

“Let governor Isaac Ruto know that he cannot woo Rift Valley into NASA supporting because the alliance has no alternative solution to the problems facing Kenyans,” he said.

The Bahati MP said Rift Valley will vote for Jubilee to a man.

Ngunjiri accused Ruto of being led by selfish interests.

“The truth is that Governor Ruto is not in NASA because he loves the alliance, he is in NASA for personal gain,” he claimed.

Governor Ruto joined NASA last month and has pledged to deliver 1.5 million votes to the alliance.

On Sunday, he led NASA pentagon for a rally in Nakuru where he urged the Rift Valley region to support Raila Odinga’s bid.
