Speaking on Saturday during a campaign rally in Busia County, Nasa co-principals Moses Wetangula and Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka accused some leaders of setting out to divide the vote.

The two said Ababu Namwamba and Eugene Wamalwa are currently working with the Jubilee government to ensure the vote is divided.

The Nasa leaders however said the leaders are in the other camp to enrich themselves.

"I sympathise with MPs from Western who have been cheated to join Jubilee because their days are numbered,” said Wetang’ula.

The NASA principals' onslaught against the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta continued as they accused Jubilee of taking the western region for granted.

The two were later joined by Co-principals  Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), who had earlier addressed rallies in Kolanya, Changara, Angurai Simba Chai and then Nambale.

Jubilee has camped in the Western region to hunt for votes, in an area considered by many as the opposition stronghold.
