Governor William Kabogo has said he is not afraid of Kabete MP’s Ferdinand Waititu entrance into Kiambu politics.
Mr Kabogo said those claiming that he is afraid of Waititu and others are wrong.
The Kiambu governor who spoke at the Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology on Friday where he awarded certificates to trainees who have been undergoing technical skill training, said that he can never be afraid of Waititu or anyone else.
Kabogo also said that he has not started political campaigns for 2017. The Kiambu Governor said that he is concentrating on finalizing development projects for Kiambu people.
Kabogo told his opponents to prepare for a tough campaign ahead of the 2017 elections.
“I have not started campaigns as being claimed by some people but when I start everyone will know that I have started,” added Kabogo. The Kiambu governor stated that he is the master of politics telling his components to prepare for a fierce battle.
“Some people are already getting afraid yet I have not started my campaigns, they should prepare for a tough race,” he added.
“Some are also saying that Kabogo is panicking and afraid of losing elections in 2017, let them know that Kabogo is never afraid,” added the Kiambu governor.
Kabogo said that he is confident that Kiambu people will vote him back as governor. “I know Kiambu people are behind my government and come 2017 we will work together,” said Kabogo.
The Kiambu governor said that he will continue to initiate development projects in the remaining one year to elections. He urged locals to support his government on development projects.
