Although the High Court's decision to strike out a petition challenging Governor Mike Sonko's win came as a blessing to the governor, not all Nairobians were happy.

A big number of Sonko's voters hit out at the celebrating governor over their grievances.

According to some, the governor had plaid politics of deceit during the campaigns and there was nothing worth celebrating now.

"Your county is full idlers, peddler so it's time to make Nairobi a living hell. If I were a governor this is what I would do:- raise taxes to mama mboga hawkers and slum dwellers. Leniency is the course of living chaos in the city," said James Johnstone.

"You've played the business community. Instead of reducing the cost of licences ndio umeongeza. Kama kazi imekushinda chukua retire," David Mulli said.

"Aki Sonko drop the advertising fees on our Nairobi Licences, over 4000/- on licences is just too high. Let those who want to advertise do so willingly boss," Thomas Wasnai added.

But the idea of dropping advertising costs did not seem the most appropriate remedy for city problems.

"The problem is that after paying all that, a hawker selling similar products as you come to sell outside your shop at a cheaper price. How I'm I expected to recover my costs and make profits?? Uhuni," Mulli responded.

"Sasa hao vijana kazi ni hii kukimbia kimbia tao. Sonko pea hao vijana kazi. I have seen friends from my hood in this clip," MC Goody said.

"Please continue walking to Khoja roundabout and Riverroad to see the pathetic state of roads and hawkers not so far away from you," Haider Adamjee complained.

"Good message although I'm so sad concerning high rate of unemployment in our country. Look at those desperate youths it's a pity to see how girls and women are behaving," said Dama Caddymila.

Emmannuel Mbithi said: "I am surprised by Kenyans. Nairobi is worse than it was before. No water, dirt everywhere including the CBD, a lot of disorder amongst hawkers and other business people in town... Sonko NO, we've lost it."
