Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi during a NASA rally Photo/www.kenyannews.co.kePolitical veteran Raila Odinga has warned fellow NASA principals against sharing posts before winning. His statement was mainly directed to Kalonzo Musyoka who demanded a written memorandum of understanding to avoid what happened after 2013 polls. Musyoka had suggested that everyone should know his/her share early enough but many have interpreted his (Kalonzo’s) stand as egocentric and divisive.“This time, there will be basic rules of engagement showing what belongs to whom. I’ve learnt from my mistakes in the past and the problem is, I have always been too trusting,” said Kalonzo. The above declaration prompted Raila Odinga to warn his brother Kalonzo Musyoka against planning on power sharing before forming the government. Raila used a traditional hunting example where you do not share your proceeds before a kill.Orange Democratic Movement leader was quick to counter Wiper’s tough stand something that indicates the ever widening rift in NASA. Moses Wetangula and his counterpart from Mulembe Nation Musalia Mudavadi has been economical with their words. The two were urged to unite so that they up Luhya's bargaining power in NASA. The struggle for communal benefits has made marketing of opposition an uphill task. Some see them as a collection of tribal gods out to satisfy communal needs as opposed to fostering national prosperity.
