Opinion leaders from Kisii county have challenged the former Prime minister to stop using abusive language if he aims to be president.
According to opinion leaders who spoke on Tuesday at a Kisii hotel led by ODM youth leader Francis Omao from Bogetaori ward they said that Raila has been failing due to his abusive language when addressing people.
“It is clear indication that due to abusive language Raila has always been missing the opportunity to be the president of this country unless he changes he will never make it,” said Omao.
This came after the opposition leader’s impromptu visit on Monday where he accused the Omogusii unity and called the community hens who do not have a stand.
“We supported him in 2007 and 2013 general election but he failed and this does not give him a ticket to abuse us, he needs to change his attitude of using abusive language," he added.
“Hate speech cannot qualify someone to be president, Raila should respect the community which has been supporting him," said Omao.
