They stop thinking beyond the job only to get back to their senses when they realize that they are almost about to lose that job or when they loose it.

Before you start partying and using that hard got money anyhow without thinking beyond the nose simply because you got that job just remember that.

People get fired: In any job setting, as far as you are working for somebody be aware that you may one day wake up, get to the office and meet that “you are fired” letter. You may either not be alerted when getting fired.

People get accidents: Just think of this, 'you got an accident that resulted to you losing or dislocating your body part that you use at work' will your employer keep you? Most definitely no. Many employers today look for productivity so you will end up losing your job.

Companies collapse: Your company will not be the first one to inform you that they are closing down due to making losses. Other companies including big companies which were once thought they can't follow the route make the same announcement leaving their employees jobless.

With this and many other many reasons that may make you loose you job it is advisable that you get out of that comfort zone and think outside the box. Ask yourself “What if I lost this job?” if your answer is “I don't know what I will do next” then you are getting it all wrong.

Save: Many people will say that they earn very little to save, forgetting that before they got that job they were earning nothing. that is a perception and a very bad one. Others find it difficult to save by their own. If this is the case set the amount you would like to save, open a saving account and liaise with your bank to save it for you immediately your salary is deposited. Make sure you choose the amount you are comfortable with even Sh500 or even Sh1000 per month.

Join a Sacco: Many working people have no any idea of how Sacco's work, Try to inquire and join one. After losing that job your Sacco that you have saved with will give you a loan of up to 4 times your saving which you can start a business. You can as well apply for the loan when still working and start something small that will keep you going and help you save more.

Make friends: When you get that job don't isolate yourself from friends whom you used to hang out with. Make sure you also make new friends in the new environment that you now get in. These friends are the ones who will connect you to new job opportunities when you lose your current one.
