A section of youths drawn from the Njoro sub-county in Nakuru have hit out at the area Woman Representative Mary Mbugua for allegedly mudslinging them.
The youths on Tuesday lamented that Mbugua claimed they had been hired to heckle her.
"We are not goons for hire and we cannot be bought. The Mbugua has despised us and she must apologize," said Daniel Mwangi.
His sentiments were echoed by Samuel Muturi who added that Mbugua had fallen out of favor with the electorates and was now clutching at 'any straw on her way'.
"The MP has been missing in action and she has lost touch with the electorates. She is now apportioning blame to anyone who comes her way or tries to question her," he said.
According to a post on the MP's Facebook page, a group of young men from Njoro had sought her forgiveness after they heckled her at the hotel. The post went on to allege that the youths had confessed to being hired to do the job.
