Wiper party chairman David Musila has accused Mwingi North MP John Munuve of betraying the party after the legislator joined Jubilee party.
Speaking at a funeral in Ngungani village in Mwingi North on Saturday October 29, Musila told Munuve that his actions bore consequences and he would fail in the forthcoming elections.
"Your move to Jubilee has not amused anyone. For this, you will be voted out and it is only advisable you retreat now before it is too late," Musila told Munuve.
Musila also added that all political traitors in the area will fail to retain their seats come 2017.
He went ahead to remind the defected leaders that Wiper was the party of the Kamba people and that such leaders should leave Jubilee party to the people of Mount Kenya region.
On his part, Munuve said he was going to stay in Jubilee no matter the consequences.
