Jubilee candidate for Garissa Township parliamentary race Aden Duale as warned his closest rival Farah Maalim to brace for a humiliating defeat in August 8 elections.
Duale said Maalim wrote his political obituary the moment he decided to run against him in the race.
“My politics and that of Farah is like day and night. Watch this space. A 10-foot grave awaits Farah’s political career come August 9. This is the last time you will hear of him in the political arena,” he said as reported by Star.
He added; “This man was mis-advised big time because he is used to clan politics, but forgets that, in Garissa Township, it is a different ball game all together because it’s home to all Kenyans. He only enjoys the support of a paltry 5,000 voters, while the rest 54,000 belong to me.”
Duale his campaigns will be easy since he has a good track record.
He noted that under his able leadership he has united communities living in the cosmopolitan town, connection of households to the national power grid and road tarmacking.
Duale was addressing a rally in Garissa town on Friday.
