Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament Richard Tong'i has been slammed by the area residents who are claiming that the legislator is selling them to the newly formed Jubilee party.
Speaking at Kiogoro market yesterday evening, the residents said they will form a movement to discourage other residents from voting him in as a member of parliament for the second term.
"By joining Omogusii unity, Tong'i is no longer supporting us since we know very well that Kisii region is an ODM zone," the residents said through their spokesperson Joseph Matonda.
Most of the residents in Kisii region have been blaming Tong'i for the failure of development in the area as he does not even visit the residents to determine the problems they go through.
Therefore, the residents have sworn never to let Tong'i retain his parliamentary seat again due to his laxity and failure to deliver as per the promises he gave during campaigns.
