The National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has maintained that the Jubilee government should be sent home by the electorates in the upcoming August 8 polls.
According to the opposition leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration has failed Kenyans in several areas since they took power in 2013.
“There are reasons that warrant president Uhuru to be sent home come August and that is the high cost of living especially the price of ‘Unga’ since they ascended to power, stealing of public money by top public officials, tribalism and suffering of the youth in Kenya,” said Odinga as quoted by Citizen digital.
“Jubilee is saying that it has one a lot for Kenyans. They say they have connected electricity to people, they have built roads, but let me tell them, Jubilee, they have not done anything to Kenyans because if you initiate projects you don’t need to open a website and tell people what you have done, they will see for themselves,” he added.
Raila was speaking, Thursday, in Mariakani, Mombasa county, during a Nasa campaign rally.
