Addressing residents at Nyacheki ward when he drummed support for ODM candidate Naphtali Okondo ahead of Thursday’s by-election, Raila said that Jubilee has failed in fighting corruption instead they have started accusing each other.

He added that the president and his deputy have started using excuses by accusing some officers that they are the ones who have failed in the fight against graft.

"Last time we saw the President accusing his officers of failing to address and end corruption, we want to tell him, he his the one who has failed that why we want to get into power so that we can transform this nation and end graft," said Raila.

He threatened that they will go to streets for demonstrations if the government plans of sacking the auditor General Edward Ouko succeeds.

"We will embark on a protest if their plan of sacking the Auditor General from office succeeds, we want them to address the issues not  accusing each other," added Raila.

Raila added that it is not the auditor general who has failed by the entire Jubilee Government.

Raila was accompanied with Governor James Ongwae, Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire, among others.
