Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka has hit out at area residents over their choice of leaders during the Jubilee nominations.
Waithaka, who was floored by former cabinet secretary Francis Kimemia in the Jubilee primaries, said it is shocking to see the kind of leaders that were elected during the exercise.
Specifically, Waithaka has an issue with Kimemia who has mounted a campaign to unseat him.
"No wonder somebody has said Nyandarua people have nothing between their ears. If they had, they would have chased him away. I am sorry to say so," Waithaka said.
The governor accused Kimemia of being a foreigner who has 'invaded' Nyandarua.
