Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) Raila Odinga has rubbished projects initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
Speaking in Luanda Constituency during his tour in the Western region, Raila said the Jubilee government has nothing new to offer to Kenyans since all is lost to non-existent projects.
The former prime minister accused the government of hoodwinking Kenyans with projects that end up not being completed.
“On some of the projects, they just come with tractors, which are used for commissioning and then returned to where they were brought from. The projects stall because the government has over-committed itself already on non-existent projects where money has been lost,” Raila said.
Raila also said the government no longer has the ability to sustain the projects it has been initiating in different parts of the nation.
“Right now the government doesn’t have even the capacity to initiate more projects on its budget,” he said.
Vihiga Senator George Khaniri backed the former prime minister saying he has never seen a corrupt government like Jubilee since he joined politics.
“We hope that when Uhuru and Ruto came to Western, they came to bid us bye because this is their last term in government.
"He is going down in Kenya’s history as the only one-term President," he said.
