Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua has urged NASA supporters to come out in large numbers to send Raila Odinga to State House in the repeat presidential election slated for next month.
Speaking to residents in Kitui Town on Tuesday, the Wiper senator that Raila Odinga is the president in waiting,
He said that NASA has the numbers to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Wambua noted that NASA supporters did not turn out in masses to vote in the recently concluded general election.
“I am appealing to NASA supporters to stop the talk and turn out in forces and help Raila ascend to the presidency,” he said as quoted by the People Daily.
Wambua said that the country’s is yearning for good leadership, adding that it is only Raila who can address the issues facing Kenyans.
The former Standard Newspaper Managing Editor assured NASA of Kamba votes. He said that Ukambani is strongly in NASA, adding that claims that region will vote for Jubilee are unfounded.
He said that Jubilee has nothing to offer to the community and locals cannot be swayed not be cheated by rebel politicians pushing for Jubilee agenda in the region.
President Kenyatta will face off with Raila Odinga in the repeat presidential election after the Supreme Court nullified his (Uhuru’s) re-election.
The IEBC has set October 17 as the date for the repeat presidential election.
