Duale, a strong supporter of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s adminstration, said that the  people around Maalim made a grave mistake telling him to contest for the  Garissa Township Parliamentary race in the upcoming general elections, adding that he will beat him hands down when that time comes.

The lawmaker said that he enjoys massive support, adding that Maalim is in for a rude shock.

“This man was misadvised big time because he is used to clan politics, but forgets that, in Garissa Township, it is a different ball game all together because it’s home to all Kenyans. He only enjoys the support of a paltry 5,000 voters, while the rest — 54,000 — belong to me,” he said as quoted by Star.

The legislator also said that he does not belong to the same league with Maalim, a close ally of Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

“My politics and that of Farah is like day and night. Watch this space. A 10-foot grave awaits Farah’s political career come August 9. This is the last time you will hear of him in the political arena,” he said.
