Bonchari MP John Opore has been blamed after he joined Omogusii unity group.
Locals from Isamwera area have said that they will not vote him in 2017 citing that he joined a selfish group meant to mislead the Gusii community ahead of the 2017 polls.
Locals led by Joshua Mong'iti said that Opore's joining of the group was with ill intentions to the people of Bonchari.
"Opore knows very well that he has done nothing to the people of Bonchari in the last 15 years. No leader has come out to compete him and this has forced as to re-elect him all those years," said Mang'iti.
"How comes he decided to join a failure and selfish group in the Gusii region? He should now be ready to pack and go in 2017," he added.
"Omogusii unity has no chance in Gusii politics. There aim is to unseat Governor Ongwae whose development record is good compared to those in the group. So it means Opore is a failure since he joined a failed group," argued Elvis Oigo.
Oigo added that under Opore's leadership, Boncharians have suffered a lot. He called upon other locals to send Opore parking in 2017.
