Nairobi senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has claimed his gubernatorial competitor in Jubilee Peter Kenneth made Uhuru’s supporters cry including Mama Ngina Kenyatta.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen Television network, Sonko said that his opponent will not win for making the president’s mother and Kenyan founding first lady shed tears as she persuaded PK to support her son Uhuru Kenyatta during the 2013 elections.

The emotional Sonko alleged that the former Gatanga Member of Parliament was among the stumbling blocks in Uhuru’s sail to becoming Kenya’s 4th president. Sonko also accused political power brokers of confusing President Kenyatta by demanding support for PK.

He occasionally referred to the 2013 presidential candidate as “that chewing gum man” in reference to the loved PK chewing gum. The flamboyant senator also confirmed that he was among those who begged Kenneth while at Uhuru’s home but his current threat never changed his mind.

According to Sonko, Uhuru Kenyatta should run his cabinet and the military with the help of his deputy William Ruto but leave the political wing of Jubilee to its owners. He claimed to be a major stake holder in Jubilee. Sonko’s furry was so evident that he demanded the dropping off of Peter Kenneth mention in the interview.
