[Photo/Nation]Busia National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders, teachers and the clergy have asked President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga to torn down.Speaking at Amagoro polytechnic grounds on Saturday during the burial service for former Busia Water and sewerage company director Philemon Imo, the leaders said Uhuru and Raila's public outburst could plunge the country into turmoil.The leaders included Teso North MP Oku Kaunya, Teso South's Geoffrey Omuse, Deputy Speaker Lawrence Okaale, ACK Katakwa Diocese Bishop John Okude, his predecessor Bishop Zakayo Epus and KNUT Busia County spokesman Deogratious Owaya.On his part, the Teso North legislator called on the church to pray for the nation as well as intervene in the ongoing IEBC stalemate.“I want the church and other arbitrators to tell the electoral body to address the minimum changes NASA wants to enable the elections be held in a fair and transparent manner. This is our prayer,” said Kaunya.Bishop Zakayo urged the two presidential candidates to conduct peaceful campaigns.“I want Raila and Uhuru to stop abusive language and conduct campaigns in a sober manner," said the Bishop.
