Speaking during a church service in Makavete Machakos county on Sunday, Muthama chided the duo for holding on to their small parties insisting that they were not favouring the Akamba unity.

"But we are telling our brother Kivutha and our sister madam Ngilu that they have to fold their small parties and join us in Wiper so that we can unite our people," he said.

Kivutha is the Muungano party leader while Ngilu is the Narc Party leader.

A fortnight ago Muthama and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka openly differed during a rally in Sultan Hamud after Muthama advised the Makueni boss to dissolve his party with Kalonzo terming the sentiments as divisive a move which prompted the senator to walk out of the rally.
