Speaking at a prayer rally on Sunday, the president asked Kenyans to exercise their democratic right by going to vote for leaders of their choice and leaving the rest with IEBC.
He asked Kenyans to dismiss political leaders who incite them to fight.“Even as I urge all Kenyans to come out and vote, those who will vote and those who will not must remember that after October 26 they will still be neighbours and they must continue to live together harmoniously,” said Uhuru.He was speaking at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru where he was accompanied by his deputy William Ruto.
