Kisii county Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) nominated Senator Janet Ong’era has told Gusii residents not to be deceived that when they are in the government is when they will benefit from development projects.
According to Ong’era every Kenyan who is a taxpayer whether in the government or opposition side has a right to get benefit from the government constitutionally.
Addressing residents at Nyacheki on Sunday, Ong’era told them to know their rights as Kenyans and ask for development any time since the constitution allows them to do so.
“The constitution allows every Kenyan in the country to get development let no one deceive you that when you are in the government that is when you can benefit, you are taxpayers and it is a right for every Kenyan,” said Ong’era.
