The Amani National Congress (ANC) party wants ODM to withdraw their candidates from contesting in Western.
According to ANC secretary general Godfrey Osotsi, ANC has sacrificed a lot for the Orange party and it’s about time Orange House reciprocate these gesture.
Osotsi said that parties must be governed by good faith and that ODM should act knowing this.
“Our ODM counterparts should not have fielded candidates in ANC strongholds of Western, especially in Vihiga. Why should ODM compete with ANC in this region,” he said.
Osotsi was speaking on Saturday at Ivona Primary School in Vihiga county during the official launch of Sabatia MP Alfred Agoi’s manifesto.
He said that voters know that leader Musalia Mudavadi founded NASA and later shelved his presidential ambitions for ODM chief Raila Odinga.
“We are campaigning and we will vote for Raila as our president, but the rest should be ANC,” he said.
