Siaya Senator James Orengo has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta for plotting to use presidential candidate Raila Odinga to have his say with the coming election.

Speaking in Nairobi Friday afternoon, Orengo said that Uhuru had colluded with IEBC to use Raila's name at a bait to fool the world that elections had been conducted in the country.

He said that by having his name on the ballot, the authorities would see the 'sanitised' election as legitimate.

"They want to have him in the polls to legitimise and sanitise their planned sham elections," he said.

Already IEBC has said that Raila will be on the ballot on allegations that he did not withdraw procedurally from the race.

The commission said Raila must first sign Form 24A to formally show he had withdrawn his candidature.
