Bonchari elders have asked former Bonchari MP Zebedeo Opore to accept that he was beaten in the August 8 polls and stop engaging the current MP Oroo Oyioka in court battles.
The elders who addressed the press at Blue Nile hotel said that the court cases were becoming a barrier to development in the constituency.
"The former MP should wait until 2022 if he is interested in the seat court battles one after the other will not in any way assist us," said John Ayieko an elder.
They told Mr Opore that his plans to appeal against a last week's court ruling that saw Mr Oyioka's win upheld was ill-intended.
They told off the former MP saying that he was sent packing by the constituents for failing to deliver promises that he made during the 2013 elections.
"He looked promising when we sent him to parliament but for the last five years we lived regretting," said Ayieko.
Last week after his case was thrown out, Mr Opore vowed to challenge the ruling in the Court of Appeal.
