Deputy President William Ruto has been told to respect NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi has said that it disgraceful for the DP to question Raila’s educational background.

This is after the DP claimed that Raila had no primary or secondary school qualification, something that angered a section of NASA supporters.

Speaking on Sunday, Atandi said that everybody knows that Raila is an educated leader.

"When Raila was lecturing at the University of Nairobi, William Ruto was selling chicken in Sigoi. For Ruto to purport to know Raila's education background is foolhardy," said Atandi.

According to the lawmaker who was addressing journalists in Siaya, Raila had fought for the country’s freedom which is being enjoyed by DP Ruto.

He added that Raila had achieved a lot for the country that did not match up to DP Ruto’s.

"The only achievement Ruto can boast of is grabbing private and public land to enrich himself," he added.
