Kisii county Commissioner Kula Hache has condemned the fire incidents in schools by saying that whoever is going to be found behind the incidents will be judged and jailed.

Speaking at Nyamache High school on Tuesday following the fire incident which occurred on Monday night some few hours after education CS Fred Matiang’i visited the school. The Commissioner said police have launched an investigation and whoever who is found responsible will bear their own cross.

“The fire incident is too much in our schools we would like to warn those who are behind this incident and whoever who is going to be found responsible the necessary action will be taken against them,” Kula said.

She said that the police have not arrested any person regarding the incident at Nyamache and Iterio Boys but the investigation is ongoing.

“We have not arrested any person regarding this incident but I would like to assure the residents that we are on with investigation, we have only arrested three girls from Omobera Girls which was also affected by fire," She said

She also challenged students to make sure that they are not involved in such incidents since once they are arrested they will be jailed.
