Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Willy Bett has assured Kenyan farmers that the delayed payments for their produce will be a thing of the past.He said that the government had purchased maize from all National Cereals and Produce Board(NCPB) depots across the country.Kenyan farmers would be given priority in the government's bid to replenish the national strategic reserve in order to ensure that the country doesn't import maize from abroad.Farmers will be paid promptly at the depots to motivate them.
