President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged residents of Kakamega county to resist falling prey to the antics of the opposition.
Speaking on Saturday, he asked the electorate from the region to support Jubilee for development and inclussive progress.
"We implemented development for you even when we knew many people from here did not vote for us."
"We assure you that we will do more for you because we are confident that you will vote for us based on our development track record," Uhuru said as he wooed the residents to vote for Jubilee.
His deputy William Ruto echoed the president's call, asking the people of Kakamega not to gamble with their votes with the NASA "opposition which has no focus".
"Do not gamble with your votes. Let’s walk together on this journey so that you join us in forming the government after the August 8 polls," the Deputy President said.
