Duale has been warned of jeopardising his political career if he shifts his political ambitions to Balambala constituency.
Garissa political analyst Hillary Obure has warned the current Garissa Township MP that winning in the 2013 general elections in Garissa Township does not directly translate to Balambala constituency.
He has warns Duale that shifting to Balambala will seem like boasting and a way of showing his political might, adding that the endorsement by his clan does not translate to votes.
“Why would someone just from nowhere show interest in another constituency instead of focusing on his own constituency? Isn’t that a sign of boasting about his political achievements?” He says.
He adds that it is easier for Duale to clinch the Garissa Township than the Balambala constituency and there is no need of complicating his political ambitions.
“Duale should stop boasting and provoking other aspirants. This will taint his image and good record. He should focus his politics on Garissa Township,” says Obure.
This is after Aden Duale said earlier this week that he is making consultations about shifting his political ambitions to Balambala constituency after Abuduwak community endorsed him.
