Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman John Mbadi has told immediate former party Secretary General Ababu Namwamba that he will regret leaving ODM, saying it was the most democratic party in the country.
Speaking in Kwale on Sunday July 10, the Suba legislator said that it is only ODM which is conducting elections in the country hence the only party where democracy really matters.
Mbadi further said that it was his wish that Namwamba remains in the party but added that he cannot prevent him from decamping to any other outfit he deems suitable to accommodate his political ideologies.
In response to criticism from Jubilee, the second-term MP wondered if the coalition's TNA had ever held an election.
He further accused TNA for shouting at the top of their voices that there is no democracy in the Orange party yet they were not democratic themselves.
"Has TNA ever held an election?" Mbadi asked.
This comes comes barely three days after the Budalang'i lawmaker Ababu resigned as the party Secretary General citing intimidation and frustration from within the Raila-led outfit.
