But Chebeni who prior to her nomination to the August House worked as an accountant in Nairobi contends that hers was pure luck although she affirms her allegiance to the ODM party which nominated her to represent the youth and gender affairs to the senate.
And on Wednesday during the induction exercise for new parliamentarians in Nairobi, Chebeni gave a sneak peek of what she intends to do for the youth and women.
"My main agenda will actually revolve around the youth and I hope to address issues around unemployment, youth and agriculture and also creativity among the young people", she said.
" I also intend to check on various legislations that will work for the youth as well as ensure that women are given opportunity in the decision making process", she added.
Chebeni alongside other senators and MPs are expected to take oath of office on Thursday.
