Ford Kenya party leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has hit out at the Jubilee regime over what he termed as its appetite for loans noting the move is fuelling a debt crisis in the country.
Speaking at AIC Kongowea Church in Mombasa on Sunday, Wetangula said the penchant to always go for loans advocated by the Jubilee administration was choking the country and fuelling a huge debt crisis.
"Right now the public debt stands at Sh3.2 trillion thanks to Jubilee's appetite for loans. Whenever they see an opportunity to borrow, they do not hesitate. Even unborn babies now have debts to pay," he said.
The Senate minority leader also blamed the government for failing to contain corruption which he said was milking the economy dry.
On Cord affairs, Wetangula maintained that there was no fallout in the opposition outfit, adding that they would soon name a flag bearer.
