Machakos County Deputy County Commander (DCC) Joshua Ole Leina has warned criminals in the county telling them that their days are numbered.

Addressing residents at Machakos town on Wednesday, the commander said that they will not stop the fight against crime.

He said that police are energised and have come up with more strategies that will put an end to crime.

“Those committing and planning to execute crime in Machakos should think twice, we are prepared for them,” warned Leina.

Leina added that police will not have time to negotiate with criminals saying that they have the mandate to keep the county safe and to make sure people always abide by the laws.

The commander asked leaders to support the initiatives being undertaken by the police to end criminal activities in the region.

He asserted that leaders and Kenyans at large have a big role to play in provision of security.

Meanwhile, the commander told journalists that investigation into an incident where two bodies of middle aged men were found dumped around Masinga dam adding that the whole truth will be known after police are through with the investigations.

“Police will carry out an intensive probe adding that those behind the killings must be brought to book,”  added Leina.
