Malindi MP aspirant Aisha Jumwa has said the Coast region will remain firmly in NASA despite Jubilee’s endless trips to the region.

Speaking in Kilifi on Tuesday, Jumwa said Jubilee is wasting time campaigning in the region, as their endless visits will not convince residents to ditch the opposition.“President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto should be advised that Coast was taken a long time ago and they are wasting their time campaigning here,” said Jumwa, as quoted by the Standard.The outspoken MP said the Coast region is not a swing vote as being claimed in some quarters, adding that residents will overwhelmingly vote for Raila Odinga on August 8.She said Jubilee should be prepared to go home after the polls as the tyranny of numbers theory will not work in their favour this time round.On Monday during a tour of Kilifi County, President Uhuru urged residents to endorse his re-election bid and reject the opposition, arguing that they have nothing to offer apart from empty rhetoric.
