Deputy president William Ruto.He has been accused of sabotaging president Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection bid through his disparaging language.Deputy president William Ruto has been advised to mind his language if he wants President Uhuru Kenyatta re-elected.
Political risk analyst Dismas Mokua said Sunday that the DP's language bordered on insults and was the main reason why he was increasingly finding himself at the receiving end of perceived opposition supporters.
Mokua said whereas Ruto is blessed by the power of the garb he was increasingly offending several voters by disparaging serious political figures in the country.
"The only person who loses when Ruto refers to others as witches, idiots and clueless storytellers is Uhuru Kenyatta. This is because these insults are offending the opposition supporters who will directly express their vengeance in the ballot," he told KTN News.
The former cabinet minister recently found himself in the thick of things when a charged crowd in Kisumu booed him.
Mokua said his insolence towards Raila was great to blame for his humbling predicament at the lakeside town.
