Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has warned Jubilee against causing rifts in the National Super Alliance (NASA).Omar alleged that Jubilee is employing malicious tactics to separate NASA principals ahead of the August 8 general election.Speaking to journalists in Mombasa on Sunday, Omar claimed that Jubilee operatives are working hard to ensure NASA collapses ahead of the August 8 polls.The Wiper Party secretary general said they have information on how Jubilee is plotting NASA’s downfall.“It is unfortunate that our competitors have resulted to political witch-hunt and malicious tactics to cause rifts in NASA,” said Omar, as quoted by the Standard.Omar said Jubilee feels threatened by NASA’s presidential line up and wants to scuttle it.The Mombasa Senator said NASA will remain united in a bid to send Jubilee home in the August polls.“We are not going to be intimidated by Jubilee’s malicious political tactics,” he said.On Saturday, a letter purporting that Kalonzo Musyoka had resigned from NASA went viral on the Internet attracting mixed reactions.Wiper Party in a statement distanced itself from the letter terming it as fake, adding that it was meant to malign the party leader’s name.According to Omar, the alleged fake letter was part of Jubilee’s tactics to intimidate Kalonzo.
