A political analyst has cautioned Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga against his insistence on a six-piece voting pattern.Speaking in an interview with KTN on Saturday, political analyst Joshua Kiptoo said Raila was setting up himself for fail by his incessant call for an all-ODM allied candidates' election especially in strongholds claimed by the Orange party.Kiptoo said the nomination exercise was a sham in most of the ODM friendly zones leading to an influx of independent candidates,a group he said Raila cannot wish away."Raila must now change tact and accomodate all candidates, otherwise his own candidature is threatened should he continue with his six--piece chorus," he said.He added that the recent violence witnessed in Rarieda when the Nasa brigade visited the region was triggered by the ODM leader's call to have his party members elected during the August 8 polls.Kiptoo challenged Odinga to embrace president Uhuru Kenyatta's strategy which he said is aimed at isolating candidates from his own vote hunting quest."The president has realized that backing Jubilee allied candidates might cost him.He has thus decided to distance himself from them anand that seems to be paying off,Raila should heed the same," he said.
