As the world woke up to the reality of a Donald Trump presidency, one man's vote has not escaped the eye of the President- elect.
Trump's stunning victory sent shockwaves around the globe as he took the key swing states of Florida, North Carolina and Ohio on his way to the White House.
It is however reported that former US President George W Bush voted "none of the above" rather than fellow Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The President-elect told a Boston-based radio station that Bush's 'None of the Above' vote "had no impact."
"I think it's sad, you know ... when I see George Bush do that," he said.
"Look, I was very critical of him for getting us into Iraq, which was obviously a horrible decision, and getting out the way Obama got us out was a horrible way to get out too. But you know, I don't think it has any impact, frankly. I think it has no impact."
The former US president's aide Freddy Ford told AFP that his boss and wife, Laura voted 'None of the Above' for president, and for Republican candidates on the rest of the ballot.
The Bush family has not weighed in significantly in the presidential election, but former president George H.W. Bush reportedly told friends privately that he would vote for Democrat Clinton.
Bush had previously signaled that he intended to sit out the race, after his younger brother Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, was defeated in the 2016 Republican Party primary.
