Kenyatta asked him to prioritise the Gender Bill, once Members of Parliament resume sitting, May 9.
This follows frequent calls by women leaders, the National Gender and Equality Commission, Opposition leader Raila Odinga, among other human rights bodies, that the Bill be passed before parliament is dissolved, ahead of the August 8 elections.
In response, the Garissa Township MP, indicated he would ensure the Bill is passed, as the Constitution stipulates.
Speaking during a Jubilee rally at Garissa Ndogo grounds, Duale said: "When we resume the National Assembly, I will prioritise the Gender Bill. I will mobilise fellow members to ensure the Bill is passed. So Mr President, there is no need to worry. I will accomplish the mission you sent me.''
During the Monday, rally, Duale was joined by all the MCA aspirants under Jubilee Party to drum up support for Kenyatta, Jubilee leaders and its affiliate parties.
