Former Machakos Deputy Governor Benard Kiala has said Governor Alfred Mutua's atrocities are catching up with him.

Kiala said the appellant court's ruling which nullified Mutua's 2017's re-election on Friday was free and fair and therefore the governor should read between the lines.

He said Mutua's past mistakes are finally catching up with him claiming that the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader has always gotten away with them.

"This is the end of the road for governor Mutua, for all the atrocities he has committed to Machakos people for the resources he has been mismanaging he's now paying for it," Kiala said.

Kiala spoke to this writer on the phone on Friday.

" The court's verdict showed clearly that the will of Machakos people was subverted on August 8th last year, Mutua should accept and move on,"Kiala added.

He said despite the fact Governor Mutua has appealed to the Supreme court, the verdict won't change.

Kiala said Mutua will terrible lose the by-election if Machakos residents get back to the ballot.

He congratulated former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti for fighting to ensure justice is served.

"I congratulate my sister Wavinya Ndeti. Nobody should try to subvert the will of the people, there should be consequences," Kiala said.
