Majority leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has attacked opposition chief Raila Odinga, calling him a coward.
During an interview with a local radio station on Tuesday, Duale accused Raila of double speak in the fight against graft in the country.
"Raila is not fighting graft, he is wants to achieve political mileage by discrediting the government. Why is he silent about the corruption in Cord-led counties. We have seen some of them have lost millions of money, but he won't call the press to talk about it," he posed.
"This is double speak, its an act of cowardice. Let him speak against this governors and we will take him seriously," he added.
The ODM leader has been on the forefront in unearthing some of the mega graft scandal taking place in the government.
A number of Cord led counties have been linked with massive loss and misuse of millions of money with the recent one being Kilifi County under Governor Amason Kingi.
But speaking to the media on Wednesday, Odinga moved in to defend Kingi saying that he was the whistle blower in an alleged loss of funds in his county.
