Party of National Unity leader Peter Munya now says deputy president William Ruto is a failure.
Munya said if Jubilee’s top leadership will not be re-elected in the August 8 polls, then Ruto should be blamed.
The Meru governor expressed disappointment over DP’s engagement in 'pointless' battles with aim of drawing support for his 2022 presidential bid.
He insisted that Ruto’s political moves should be monitored so as not to compromise president Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
"Number two has been doing all sorts of machinations to cut us to size but he is going to be defeated," Munya said.
Munya who also doubles as the chairman of the Council of Governors accused Ruto damaging Jubilee party's reputation.
"He has failed the JP party. And in matters of running the government, let the public judge.''
He was speaking in Nairobi, Monday.
