Former Budulangi MP Ababu Namwamba has asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to retire from politics.
The former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General says that Raila has nothing left in politics and that he should follow his age mates who quit politics long time ago.
Speaking during an interview on K24 on Tuesday night, Ababu said that Raila is politically exhausted and must pave way for young leaders to push the country's democratic agenda forward.
He said that the former Prime Minster (PM) ambition of being president will never come true claiming that people around him are his worst enemies.
“Raila has been rejected several times on the ballot and its time he reflected on this and quit politics,” he said during the interview.
The former MP said that Odinga and NASA have no political future adding that the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the October 26 repeat presidential election sealed Odinga’s political fate.
Ababu also laughed of NASA transformation into a National Resistance Movement (NRM) saying it will not go far.
He alleged that NRM is a militia and an illegal outfit that will be scrapped out once president elect Uhuru Kenyatta is sworn into office.
Ababu claimed that NRM’s agenda is to cause economic crisis in the country and attract international community sympathy.
The former MP said that Jubilee will not be intimidated by NRM saying that it will be dealt with according to the law.
