Photo/ nation.co.keBomet County Governor Isaac Ruto has asked Deputy President William Ruto to stop meddling in his county's affairs.Speaking during a public baraza at Gelegele trading Center in Sotik, Bomet County, Governor Ruto told his supporters that the Deputy President has nothing to say about his campaigns, as he is not the one who rallied the electorate behind him.“The deputy president is not my campaign manager and he should know that even in 2013 I campaigned for him and President Uhuru Kenyatta and not vice versa,” he said, as quoted by Citizen. The governor also launched a scathing attack against the Jubilee leadership over alleged failure to allocate development funds to the county.He claimed that the current leadership has frustrated his efforts to improve the lives of the common mwananchi, adding that they will not get votes from the region.“You have refused to give us money to make roads and retained it in the national government, you have retained the money for health, maternity and water in the national government yet you say that the process of devolution has been completed. You have not employed primary school teachers; the citizens are employing them. We are tired, look for votes elsewhere,” he added.The governor vowed to mobilize residents to vote the Jubilee government out of power.
