Deputy president William says the National Super Alliance (Nasa) principals did nothing for the country while they were in power before Jubilee took over and therefore should not be elected.
Speaking in Naivasha during a Jubilee rally, Ruto criticised the Opposition for yearning to get into power yet they do not have any agenda for the country.
“As we speak today, they do not have a candidate. As we speak today, they do not know if it is Cord or Nasa. As we speak today they do not have a manifesto,” Ruto said, Friday.
“The only one thing they can agree on is to hold protests. And even us in Jubilee we agree they can do that well. They know who will carry stones, who will carry teargas, who will carry whistles and who will seat on the road,” he added.
He further added that Nasa had no development agenda for the country.
“But to plan about how to build a Railway, how children will go to school, how electricity will be connected, they do not have that agenda,'' he noted.
Ruto urged the Naivasha residents to re-elect the Jubilee government for a second term, saying Jubilee has achieved a lot citing the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).
