Deputy President William Ruto has slammed Opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka, saying they are worse.
Ruto cited recent uproar by a section of MPs, after Odinga's elder brother Oburu, and Musyoka's son, Kennedy, were among a list of names proposed to be nominated to the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA).
Oburu however withdrew his name, saying Raila should not be dragged into his political issues.
The National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale is also opposed to Kennedy's nomination.
According to Ruto Raila and Musyoka were practicing nepotism, which is worse than tribalism.
"They are picking their relatives, sons and brothers to EALA. This is not even tribalism. It is nepotism. Nepotism is worse than tribalism,'' Ruto said while in Kuria, Migori county.
He asked Kenyans to vote for Jubilee, for a second term, saying Nasa had no agenda for Kenyans.
"They only want to create jobs for themselves. You can now see from the list of nominated people to EALA,'' he added, Thursday.
Wiper has since defended Kennedy's nomination, saying he is as qualified, as anyone else.
